Episode 97: Incorrigible? with Zander Keig

From anti-social teenage lesbian drop-out, to Coast Guardsman, to seminarian, to licensed clinical social worker, Zander Keig has led a singular life. Like Corinna, Zander is an old-school transsexual, but the culture has changed since the (not actually) halcyon tranny days of yore. Recently, Zander went from being WPATH Educator of the Year to becoming the subject of an ethics complaint and an underhanded cancel campaign — for committing the unforgivable sin of advising the Gender Dysphoria Alliance. Keig’s equanimity stands out even more than the fascinating, insightful, and occasionally harrowing stories on this episode.

  1. I have a 14 year old trans “son”, so went down the rabbit hole researching and learning as much as I could.
And found you two, among others.
You’ve been the final girding I needed to hold firm against many in my left-wing circle (including our elder daughter who is studying gender studies a University) many of whom are pushing for me to support puberty blockers, etc.
And I was even able to confidently talk with my 14 year old’s therapist about my concerns with her WPATH-informed care pathway and any affirmative approach in general.
(I’ve actually scaled way back on the therapy and upped the boxing and ocean swimming with seeming solid effects.)
Everyone has lost their minds on this issue EXCEPT for you both, Buck Angel, and the feminists of TERF Island.
    Bless you all.

  2. What a great conversation with Zander K! What a fascinating life after what sounds like some very tough years. Thanks Heterodorx people!
